Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great week and watched General Conference! If not, go on to lds.org and check it out! We arent able to see it until next week on the 8th and 9th and I am so so excited to watch it! This week was pretty solid! Nothing too crazy happened but we were able to meet almost all of our appointments and help people come closer to our Savior!
This week we went back the the Nagrillo household, the people who cooked for Elder Waites Birthday, and when we went we wanted to teach about the Book of Mormon! The grandpa, Maximo, cant read really small letters so Elder Waite and I printed out part of the Book or Mormon in huge letters for him to read! It was such a fun time and Im happy to be able to say he was able to read the large letters! It just goes to show that there is always a way to read the Scriptures no matter where we are or what is holding us from reading! We also had the chance to go to Brother Benji who is awesome! He isnt from Luna but he is from the Highlands so he is so good at english! Its fun to teach in Tagalog and English and I know Elder Waite loves being able to teach in english as well! Benjamin is so smart about the Bible and churches. He keeps us on edge making sure we know the same things he knows haha. This week he shared with us his love for Christ and how important it is we follow him. We talked about the Plan our Father in Heaven has for us and how we can always stay on that perfect straight path!
Benji is so awesome! He has such a strong spirit and loves the Gospel!
One of our members, Brother Dela Cruz moved this week so we went to say goodbye! He is such a soft spoken nice guy and I wish him the best! I wish you all the best and hope you have a great week! Stay safe and always turn to Our Father in Heaven when you need help!
